The Burrow Family +1

As a photographer who photographs children, you have to be prepared for anything, have lots of patience and be ready to run around! The Burrow's family session was no different. Although Avian wasn't big on running around a whole lot, he was definitely silly in many other ways! Like most sessions with kids, the first 15 minutes is the best time to get the posed, calm photos. After 15 minutes, their attention span quickly disappears! 

Towards the middle of the session, Avian decided he was done with picture time. First he was mad about it, so I decided to ask mommy and daddy to tickle him. That worked for a little while! Then it was time to run, so we followed him up the path at Hugelheim park. We stopped to get a few photos of mommy and daddy, and during that time Avian found a nice patch of sticky burs to get into & he was covered! Once he got those burs stuck to him, I think he was definitely done. We had to do a little convincing to make him happy for the last 10 minutes of their session. In the end, all that hard work Avian did was worth it!

I think their session turned out great! We captured lots of great moments of this adorable family. I hope that when their newest addition is born I'll be in town to photograph her in all of her new cuteness!
