Beautiful Engagement Photos - Courtney and Brian

For the past year or so I've been on a mission to find my own photography style. I've looked at hundreds, quite possibly even thousands, of different photographers work trying to find what I like best. It's been quite the time consuming job! There are SO many different styles out there, but every time I come across a photographer with a vintage look I find myself being much more impressed with their photos, website, everything.

Over the last few months I've been changing things around to go with a vintage theme for my photography brand. My logo is different, I completely revamped my website and now finally I feel as if I've achieved the same kind of look for my photos. After reading up on how to achieve the right look, practicing and getting advise from other photographers I decided to officially use my new skills on a session. The result? Some of the most beautiful photos I have ever taken. I am in LOVE with all of them!

I e-mailed Courtney and asked her what location she wanted for their session and I was so happy she picked the Kickapoo Creek Winery. It's a GORGEOUS location with so many different spots for beautiful photos. To make things even better, Courtney and Brian are an awesome couple. They're fun, a little goofy at times and best of all, truly in love. They made my job easier just by letting their personalities shine.

As soon as we were done with our session, I couldn't wait to get back home and go through all of their photos and start editing my favorites. Once I was done going through all their photos, I had 80 favorites! As much as I would love to edit all of those, my children would definitely not be happy with me if I stayed on the computer that long! So I picked my 5 ABSOLUTE favorites and posted them on my Facebook fan page as sneak peaks. Check them out! I hope you love them as much as I do.

Courtney decided she wanted to pick all the photos they wanted me to edit and now I'm anxious to see what she chooses! I might end up posting more from their session once she gets back to me, so stay tuned! If you want to see them sooner than later, make sure to 'like' my fan page on Facebook so you can see the photos as soon as I'm done with them. My Facebook fans always get the first look!

Until next time! :)
