Building a Portfolio - Sara (continued)

I know I'm SO behind on blogging about my sessions, bad me! Sometimes my little family likes to keep me as busy as possible and I don't get a chance to blog about my sessions. So today I'm going to try and catch up on all of the ones I've missed. This could lead to a very long day. Maybe this will teach me not to be such a slacker though, right? :)

Anyway, if you have been following my blogs or my Facebook fan page, you'll know that Sara is working on building her modeling portfolio and I'm more than happy to help!

A few weeks ago I bought a new piece of equipment that was recommended to me by another photographer. So I bought it and decided to get a hold of Sara to see if she'd be interested in letting me try it out with another modeling session with her. Once again, she said she'd love to.

Seeing as our last shoot was in the warehouse district of Peoria, I decided we should try to go for something a little different. So I started scouting online for places we could go to. I found lots and lots of different places to go to and I finally found something perfect. An old abandoned house that a tornado damaged some time ago out near Washington, IL. This location was PERFECT! I'm so glad Sara said she'd be willing to make the drive out there (especially seeing as it was last minute!).

Upon testing my new piece of equipment, I quickly learned I need to hire an assistant to use it properly. Even without it, I think we still managed to capture some amazing photos. However, my opinion is a little biased. :)

Personally, I LOVE these photos and I'm so glad Sara was willing to come to this location with me last minute. I will definitely be using it again for future sessions.

If you're interested in booking a session with me and using this amazing location, feel free to send me an e-mail at or call me at 6 0 8  7 3 8  4 1 5 9.
